Amphibious warship USS Tripoli (LHA-7) is in port in Sasebo, Japan.
Tripoli will operate with Amphibious Squadron 11 ships USS Rushmore (LSD-47), USS New Orleans (LPD-18) and USS San Diego (LPD-22) and the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit based out of Okinawa, Japan.

Aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN-73) departed Tuesday from Yokosuka, Japan, according to ship spotters, and is conducting routine operations in the Philippine Sea.
In the Caribbean

The Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group is operating in the Caribbean Sea. USS Iwo Jima (LHD-7) arrived Saturday in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, for a port visit, according to ship spotters.

The Amphibious Ready Group includes USS Fort Lauderdale (LPD-28), USS San Antonio (LPD-17) and the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit based in Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Base New River. Fort Lauderdale is currently operating south of Puerto Rico, while San Antonio is in port in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

The 22nd MEU consists of Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 263 (Reinforced), Combat Logistics Battalion 26 and the Battalion Landing Team, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment.
There are three U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyers operating in the Caribbean.
USS Jason Dunham (DDG-109), homeported at Naval Station Mayport, Fla.
USS Gravely (DDG-107), homeported at Naval Station Norfolk, Va.
USS Stockdale (DDG-106), homeported at Naval Station San Diego, Calif.
Stockdale is currently in port in Ponce. Guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Erie (CG-70) is also operating in the Caribbean. Lake Erie is homeported at Naval Base San Diego, Calif.
In addition, Littoral Combat Ship USS Minneapolis-Saint Paul (LCS-21) has been operating in the region and is currently in port in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba.
In Palma de Mallorca, Spain

Aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN-78) was spotted transiting eastbound in the Strait of Gibraltar on Wednesday and was off the coast of Palma de Mallorca, Spain, on Friday, according to ship spotters.

In the Persian Gulf
Littoral Combat Ships USS Canberra (LCS-30), USS Santa Barbara (LCS-32) and USS Tulsa (LCS-16) are now operating in U.S. 5th Fleet with the Navy’s first operational mine countermeasure mission packages. The ships replaced the Avenger-class MCM ships based in Bahrain since 2012, all four of which have been decommissioned.
